ARY FIRST PRIMETIME NEWS BULLETIN AFTER PANAMA LEAKS

http://videos.arynews.tv/bulletin-2100-3rd-april-2016/ interestingly, this news bulletin lacks details about the event. though the details would be aceptable for anyone who has prior knowledge or for someone who might use additional information. but the issue can be seen from another side. may be, this much sensationalismis important because otherwise news will become so plain and dull that people will lose interest. people can still review the above mentioned link and can have their own opinion on the coverage of ARY news. This coverage is also considered biased sometimes. the following article very well explains the same trend in the international media. Be it print or electronic media the issue remains in the fact that what media will highlight has no set rules.  Even if it is directly quoting the source,  it has a choice to play with the blurbs. This present news about post Panama verdict scenario very well explains this fact.  Tickers in the electronic media can be as catchy as these but the journalists will still have a point to say that these are the quoted words of a source.  No one can blame journalists that they are framing the story in a tilted way.  A way that is more sensationalist and less informative. Buch such great allegations on media do need some research work.

Pakistani media and competition on panama case coverage

As soon as the case of panama started in the court,  all the channels started their race of ratings.  No channel in pakistan wanted to be left behind but the two main channels ARY and Geo news were considered to be tilted on the either side.  ARY in favour of PTI and Geo in favour of PMLN.  But presence of some neutral anchors like shahzeb khanzada changed the entire  pace of the coverage. Moreover,  anchors like hassan nisar on geo tv who bluntly speak against this system of democracy and the present govt of PMLN that came into power after elections 2013. Both the channels,  apparently put forward the opinions that are neutral but the boycott of govt leaders of ARY because of its tilted and blunt coverage poses a big question mark on the media as well as the govt. Also,  misbehave of PTI with geo news also appeared in rumors.  However,  no channel can be considered as the popular one if its biased and tilted towards single party.  Both ARY and Geo News are striving hard to com

And leads and tickers just portrayed the exact scenarios as it is.

Panama verdict in pakistan April 20, 2017

Joint investigation team will be formed.  JIT will give its report after every 2 weeks. In total of 60 days final decision will be given.    JIT will investigate against PM,  hassan hussain nawaz as nab Chairman failed to do hs task.  He wasn't willing to perform his task in the investigations. jit will include nab ,  secp and fia.  DG fia failed to do the investigation of white collar crime.  Larger bench of 5 judges gave the verdict of the panama on April 20, 2017 Media coverage today was overall not sensationalist. It was more tilted towards the opinions of the leaders. geo News not only incorporated opinions of experienced candidates like umer cheema from ICIJ but also anchors like shahzab khanzada gave deep insight to the issue. ARY did a special transmission of its analyst including arshad sharif,  waseem badami,  kashif abbasi,  sami ibrahim and two others. Pakistani private electronic media played a good role to put forward the verdict on panama case.
